For the last several decades, dark-humored folks have been out-cast and pushed aside as the 'black sheep' of the family, wondering why our darkness creeps into every joke and every topic at the dinner table. Apparently, nobody wants to laugh away the pain anymore!
But luckily, dark-humored fellas can band together and LOL at the shadows, because without a little chuckle, the scariness is actually scary. That's our secret weapon–laughter. Ironically, the dark things in life are made a little lighter when we joke about it, so even if it's a little off-base, poorly timed, or just downright unlaughable, perhaps it's time to teach everyone the ways of the dark humorist, sprinkling sarcasm and self-deprecating humor into the world.
