We're entering the home stretch of complaining about Daylight Savings Time. While most of us have gotten used to the one-hour time difference by now, we haven't been able to fully accept that it's pitch black by the time we leave the office every day. I think I speak for most of us in saying I would rather have an extra hour of daylight tacked onto the end of the afternoon than the hour we get in the early morning. I know that daylight saving came into existence to save energy during the summers of World War I, but I don't think that is a justifiable enough reason to keep it around. Despite popular myths that Daylight Savings Time exists for the sake of farmers, farmers have actually been longtime dissenters of DST.
