I'm shaking in anticipation for the new Harry Potter series coming out on Max next year. With the success of the Percy Jackson Disney+ series, I'm sure that Warner Brothers is going to do whatever they can to make it as great, if not better, than the original movies. Many people think that the path to greatness will entail making the show as book-accurate as possible, which will be a tall order. I personally don't think that adding more Quidditch storylines or highlighting Peeves the Poltergeist will be the recipe for a perfect series. It costs so much money to make the movies good the first time around, and I'm unsure if the visual effects of the 2020s from a studio that's losing so much money will be on par with the visual effects from some extremely expensive movies from the Aughts.
The most exciting part of this upcoming series for me is the casting of the adult characters. Will we finally get the Andrew Garfield Remus Lupin we've been fan-casting all of these years? Will Tom Felton get cast because he's so unemployed? Only time will tell; the best way to fill that time is with some Harry Potter memes.
